RRR after its first week has registered staggering numbers and has established many new opening day and opening weekend records. However, as expected, the collections saw a slight dip during the weekdays. Now, with the 2nd weekend approaching, RRR is seeing a hike in occupancies and is picking up momentum towards another milestone weekend.
The advance bookings from Friday evening are excellent in all territories and languages. A solid weekend is expected and the next two days will be big in Telugu states due to Ugadi. All in all, RRR is in for another great weekend at the box office huge numbers are expected.
Overall the film has collected a share of 186.3Crs from the Telugu States and the worldwide share of the Telugu version is close to 263.2Crs. We need to see how much more will the second week to the already humungous collections of the film.
Vijay’s Beast is releasing on the 13th of April and Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 is releasing on April 14th. Hence the movie has a good 2 weeks of time to make the most out of the box office in both Tamil Nadu as well as Karnataka.
